About us:

Shearwater Capital is a Sydney-based venture fund that invests in high-growth technology companies across Australia and New Zealand.

We recently launched our second fund, a $100 million fund dedicated to backing founders building generationally great companies. Our track record as a fund is top decile and reflects our approach to our craft: hardworking, high integrity, thoughtful.

About the Role:
We’re looking for a generalist Venture Analyst to join our team in Sydney. This is a wide-ranging role suited to someone who is bright, analytical, curious, proactive and interested in the startup ecosystem across ANZ.

You will be responsible for supporting the team in sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities, as well as tracking the performance of our portfolio companies. You’ll be involved in all parts of the venture investment process — from market mapping and founder outreach through to financial analysis, memo writing and portfolio reporting.

You don’t need to have prior venture capital experience.
